A growing list of well built open-source apps in Laravel

Sometimes, it would be interesting to see what you can build using your favorite framework. This is especially useful when you’re in the phase of selecting a framework for your next project.

Open-source projects can be useful since you can dive deep into the code and see how people have solved similar problems. And since these projects are open-source, you can also contribute to them and learn from the community.

Here’s a condensed list of some open-source applications that are built using Laravel. I’ll be updating this list as and when I come across new ones. So, let me know if you know of any other open-source projects that you think are worth adding to this list in the comments. Oh! by the way, this Twitter(X) thread inspired me to write this article.

The list includes all sorts of applications ranging from accounting software to social media platforms. And these are well-made and production-ready applications that you can learn a lot from.

  • Pinkary — An open-source Linktree alternative with social media features built right into the platform.
